A Smaller Bit About the Author

I’m unsure whether my real-life identity is really relevant to my online identity, and specifically to this blog. After all, I have no intention of writing about me, so who I am in the “real world” doesn’t really matter very much. A few potential readers of this blog already know me in the real world, some know me via online sources, and some don’t know me from anywhere else at all. Any time something about me is relevant to a post, I’ll mention it within the body of that post.

That said, some people do understandably like to have a little context for what they read, and I’m a fascinating guy, so I may as well outline a few tidbits about myself.

My name is Vergil Keynes. I also go by Cheshire_Ocelot in a few places. You can call me just “Vergil” or even “Ocelot” or “Ocie” for short.

I’m nineteen years old, though I’m actually slightly older. You can’t be twenty on Sugar Mountain, after all.

I live in the American South.

I attend a university known for its engineering programs, where I belong to the token Arts and Humanities department, majoring in Literature.
